Privacy Policy

The Japanese version shall prevail in case of any inconsistency.

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

In providing the Large Shareholding Report Notification Service (the “Service”), we collect the following information:

1. All users
   • Email address (provided for registration, login authentication, and notification delivery)
2. When applying for the Paid Plan (in addition to the above)
   • Billing-result information provided to us by the payment processor (e.g., Stripe Payments Japan, Inc.), including success or failure of payments, billing dates, amounts, card brand, and the last four digits of the card number
   • History of application, cancellation and similar operations

Credit card numbers, expiration dates, security codes and other payment credentials used for the Paid Plan are collected and processed directly by the payment processor and are not collected or retained by us.

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

We use the personal information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• Management of member registration and login authentication (passwordless email-link method)
• Provision of the Service, including delivery of notification emails regarding large shareholding reports
• Billing, collection of fees, and management of cancellation for the Paid Plan
• Sending important announcements regarding the Service
• Responding to inquiries
• Addressing violations of the Terms of Service and other unauthorized use
• Preventing re-acquisition of the free trial period after withdrawal
• Improvement of the Service and creation of statistical data (in a form that does not identify individuals)

Article 3 (Disclosure to Third Parties)

We do not disclose collected personal information to third parties, except in the following cases:

• When disclosure is required by law
• When consent has been obtained from the individual
• When disclosure is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain consent from the individual

Article 4 (Outsourcing)

We may, to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to the following types of contractors. We will appropriately supervise such contractors.

• Payment processor (e.g., Stripe Payments Japan, Inc.)
• Email delivery service provider (e.g., SendGrid, operated by Twilio Inc.)
• Cloud infrastructure provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Inc.)

Article 5 (Information Management)

We manage collected personal information appropriately and implement reasonable security measures to prevent loss, leakage, and alteration.

We retain records such as access logs for a certain period in order to respond to incidents and prevent unauthorized use. Where such records include an email address, it is recorded in a partially redacted form.

Article 6 (Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion of Information)

If you wish to request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your personal information, please contact us through our inquiry form. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If you withdraw from the Service, we replace your email address with an irreversible value (a hash) and delete information such as your notification settings. To the extent necessary to assess re-registration and to reconcile payments, we retain your member ID, registration date, contract status, and the customer ID held by our payment processor. We retain records relating to payments for the period required by law.

Article 7 (Cookies)

1. The Service uses cookies to the extent necessary to provide the Service, including maintaining login sessions.
2. Users may decline cookies through their browser settings. In such case, some functions of the Service, such as login, may not work properly.
3. We do not currently perform behavioral tracking of users through analytics tools or similar means. If we introduce such tools in the future, we will revise this Policy and post it on this page.

Article 8 (Policy Revisions)

This Policy may be revised in response to changes in applicable laws or in the content of the Service. When we make material changes, we will notify users through the Service or by email. The latest version will be posted on this page.
